This site, which started as a very, very, very rudimentary exercise on lousy templates that we eventually switched to slightly less lousy templates-- has always been about content and about following something that matters a great deal to each of us who write on it. It was an organic idea built out of an early summer morning trip to a coffee shop after a gut-wrenching defeat at the hands of a team we had no business losing to. In many ways-- we can look back at post number one and thank Mike Orozco for all that this site has become. Today, I simply post to inform ya'll that the site has moved and this move is directly due to the leadership of Daniel Seco, a former editor of the University of Florida newspaper and a tremendous journalistic mind, a longtime supporter and editor of the orignal site, who has taken a leadership role in new site development and put hours of effort into reshaping the site into something that fans of the national team can rely on and be proud of-- which was always our organic dream if not our vision. I've always wanted to say that something is truly a "labor of love", and now I can officially type that and tell you that as long as the U.S. Men's National Team continues to don the colors and play hard, we will work hard to keep you informed and offer unsolicitied and hopefully well-informed and reasoned opinions.
Please check out our new site, and echo your thanks to Dan Seco, whose effort has certainly made all of us very proud. We look forward to making you proud as our boys inch closer to next year's World Cup. Get well soon Chuck D-- and check out the new site at:
